In the “floral” traditions of ancient China, the Peony was known as the “queen of flowers”; it evokes nobility, opulence and honour and embodies love. It was adored throughout the Tang Dynasty, the cultural golden age of China. With its scarlet colour, it is considered the flower of power, a symbol of good fortune, wealth and prosperity. Its fragrance denotes beauty, generosity and success. This is the interpretation on which I set to work, creating PEONIA, a fragrance that is at once highly present and awakens all the senses, particularly touch, so that the fragrance becomes a scented caress.

Peony

Peony is highly valued in perfumery for his delicate floral scent, often reminiscent of roses. However, extracting her fragrance directly from nature is not feasible; instead, it must be recreated in a lab, making it an expensive ingredient primarily found in high-end perfumes. With its resemblance to rose perfume and subtle vegetal undertones, peony essence is sought after for creating sophisticated olfactory blends.

Amber

Amber exudes an enchanting, warm, and sensual scent, blending woody, resinous, and sweet notes. This precious ingredient is often used as a base note in perfumes to impart depth and elegance. Paired with vanilla, sandalwood, and musk, it crafts distinctive fragrances evoking luxury. As a fixative, it prolongs the longevity of other notes on the skin. In perfumery, it harmonizes seamlessly with spicy and woody accords, alongside musky undertones, creating a rich and sophisticated olfactory journey.

subtil, délicat et affirmé

La dénomination est juste et non marketing comme c'est souvent le cas : Peonia est un vrai floral, ambré, délicat ce qui lui confère beaucoup de subtilité mais aussi du caractère. Habituellement, je n'aime pas les parfums floraux car ils le sont trop, trop sucrés sans réel caractère... et ça ne me correspond pas. Ce parfum a une très jolie signature car il est subtilement floral mais avec beaucoup de profondeur, il vous enveloppe d'un halo de fleurs bienfaisantes comme le géranium rosat que l'on perçoit et ce subtil mélange vous transporte dans un jardin de pivoine à l'intérieur d'un couvent où se mêle des senteurs de pierres nobles, de boiseries hors d'âge au fumet d'encens...c'est une vraie signature que j'adore qui en fait un parfum intemporel et magique
